Do you have stories burning a hole in your heart? In this 9-month course, I will serve as your guide, offering sage advice and encouragement to help you bring your dream of writing, whether it’s a book, essays, blog posts, or a robust writing practice, to life. With weekly prompts, monthly workshops, and check-ins, you’ll

receive rich and personalized instruction from me. I will offer regular, in-depth feedback, supporting you as you build your writing from the ground up. If you’ve always wanted to write the stories of your life but haven’t been sure how to begin, this course is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE:

  • Monthly 90-Minute Workshops

    You’ll learn and apply concepts and techniques of Creative Nonfiction that will help you write—and share—your story.

  • Monthly 45-Minute One-on-One Session with Callie

    Together, you’ll discuss your writing, receive individualized instruction, and written feedback.

  • Monthly Cohort Check-Ins

    Together with the other participants, you’ll discuss the writing process, the challenges you faced, and share your work.

  • Weekly Writing Prompts

    You’ll receive weekly poetry and picture book prompts that ignite your imagination and spark your creativity.

  • A Story-Slam Celebration

    Over Zoom, you and the other participants will each reach a portion of your manuscript. Friends and family are invited!
